Rationale

The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) has 254 member institutions from 28 countries in which Thailand is one of the member countries consisting of 43 member institutions, both public and private higher education institutions. Each year, there will be a national academic conference (Inter-University Conference) 2 times a year, with a rotation of hosts.

Year 2020, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok assigned by the Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning of Thailand, hosted the 44th ASAIHL Thailand Conference in the topic "Bridges for Science and Education: Cooperation, Trust, Openness and Creativity in Globalized World" to be a forum to present academic work and exchange opinions between researchers, scholars, and students. As well as the selection of academic work presented to represent Thailand in the ASAIHL International Conference, which will be held in Poland during 17-19 June, 2020.

The 44th ASAIHL Thailand Conference is organized by the committee comprised from the member institutions in Thailand. The organizing committee welcomes research and academic papers for submission. The papers will be evaluated for their quality through double-blind peer review by the conference committee and the external peer reviewers.

Objectives

1. To publish and share knowledge, thoughts and academic experiences among university lecturers, scholars, researcher, and doctoral and master’s degree students in the topic “Bridges for Science and Education: Cooperation, Trust, Openness and Creativity in Globalized World.”

2. To select the country report presented to represent Thailand in the ASAIHL International Conference, which will be held in Poland during 17-19 June 2020.

Presentation

20 minutes per presenter (15 minutes for oral presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers. Full papers presented at the conference will be compiled into an online Proceedings within a month after the conference.

Note: The country report must be written and presented in English language.
